Devised by a group of five neurodiverse artists alongside filmmaker Steven Eastwood, The Stimming Pool invites you to see the world from a neurodiverse perspective.
From a B-Movie film club host to an office worker masking their autism, this experimental and at times fantastical documentary builds a cast of enigmatic characters in order to explore autistic experience in all of its diversity. Through the film’s recurring patterns and Easter-egg-like details, we see the intricacies and difficulties of autistic perception brought to life. Driven by the motto ‘Nothing About Us Without Us’, The Stimming Pool centres neurodiverse voices in its innovative, unique and visceral approach.
