Borderlines Film Festival is a Community Interest Company that brings films and related events to audiences in a large rural area who would not otherwise have access to the cinema experience that their urban counterparts take for granted.

What information do we collect about you?
We collect personal data that you submit voluntarily to us by means of enewsletter and direct mail sign-up or by filling in a visitor questionnaire during the Festival.

When purchasing a ticket through the website you will be linked to our Central Box Office which is run by The Courtyard in Hereford. Alternatively, you may be linked to the box office systems at Malvern Theatres, Ludlow Assembly Rooms; Booths Bookshop Cinema, Hay or The Conquest Theatre, Bromyard. We do not see any of your details, neither your name, address, phone number, email address, nor tickets ordered and credit card number.
How will we use the information that we have collected?
Here at Borderlines Film Festival we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us.
We collect information about you in order to provide you with email updates and marketing information about Borderlines Film Festival and the films we screen, and/or to send you Festival brochures and flyers by post, according to the marketing permissions you have opted for. Occasionally our e-newsletters will include items about events taking place at our partner venues that we deem to be of interest to you. Similarly, our postal mailouts may periodically include leaflets from organisations which we support.
When you subscribe to our mailing list only the details you give us are collected.
We use a GDPR compliant marketing automation platform (MailChimp) to store our database, send you emails and host our e-news signup forms.
