A film festival is all about seeing a lot of films in a relatively short space of time, an immersion.
There are three ways you can share your experience of Borderlines 2024:
1) Our main funder the BFI (British Film Institute) requires that we request our audience members to fill out one of their surveys. You can do this at one of the three venues where we have a festival desk. Staff or volunteers will provide you with a tablet loaded with the survey or give you a postcard with a QR code that you can take away, scan with your phone to fill the form in online at home. We're very grateful if you can spare the time to do this. There are some paper surveys available too.
2) You can rate the film you've just seen at The Courtyard, Hereford, Malvern Theatres, and Ludlow Assembly Rooms by putting your ticket stub or a voting card into one of the five yellow boxes on the tables outside the auditorium: 5 stars for excellent, 1 star for poor and everything in between.
We do also have an online form through which you can rate all the films at the festival.
We do display the results at these venues but we are not allowed to display then online because such a large part of the programme is made up of previews, films screening before their UK cinema release. We ask you to refrain from posting pictures of the results sheet online.
3) If you want to say more, you can write a short comment on one of the post-it notes that are available at selected venues. A few of these are posted on our social media channels.
And of course, please actually tell us, the staff and volunteers, what you think.
