WHAT
Borderlines Film Festival is the UK’s largest rural film festival with close to 300 screenings of the best new international and British cinema. You’ll see a lot of films that you’d find hard to catch anywhere outside major cities, including rare or classic gems.
WHERE
Borderlines stretches over Herefordshire and Shropshire, down the border with Wales, with a foothold to the east at Great Malvern. Through its partner venues and Arts Alive – which runs the amazing BFI funded programme Flicks in the Sticks – it carries cinema out to far-flung audiences, bringing individuals together to enjoy great films at their best: on the big screen.
WHEN
Friday 6 – Saturday 21 March 2026
Hugely popular with regular audiences, Borderlines is an exciting and buoyant event that offers a 16-day immersion
in cinema. Try it and you’ll be hooked.
