When a house in Normandy formerly belonging to an Adèle Meunier is due for demolition, her four descendants, businesswoman Céline, beekeeper Guy, French teacher Abdel and online content creator Seb, are summoned to inspect the contents. A trail of artefacts leads them to retrace Adèle’s adventures in fin de siècle Paris. Playing fast and loose with accuracy, Colours of Time, with its excellent production design, mix of traditional and CGI special effects and deft interplay between past and present, is vastly entertaining
