In a futuristic Tokyo shaken by earthquake alerts, a group of high-spirited teenagers defy the surveillance systems of their authoritarian school.
This feature debut from Neo Sora follows his documentary tribute to his composer father Ryuichi Sakamoto – and techno music is a passion that the young rebels share. Best friends Yuta and Kou aspire to be DJs but with different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, their outlook and paths gradually diverge. This beautifully crafted vision of a dystopian and xenophobic city – not so far-fetched – urges us to imagine the possibilities of the future and consider them right now.
